Patterned tiles: Mediterranean style tiles are popping up in contempary homes all over the place, mostly used in courtyards bathrooms and kitchens. This is a trend to watch.
Shaggy rugs: Austen Powers style baby – a trend from the swinging sixties is back with a vengeance, as with all things retro, get ready to break out the carpet rake.
Cane Furniture: This 80’s favoured look from wicker to bamboo has come back to haunt contemporary homes. The look has however been updated with new paint finishes and techniques. It works beautifully both indoors and out for creating a colonial or tropical look that is all the rage.
