Apartment Sells for $35,000/sqM

By Todd Alexander

Peter Leipnik, from powerhouse agency Ray White Double Bay, has sold a two bedroom 100sq m apartment at 507/63 Hall Street Bondi Beach for an impressive $3.510M.

The auction campaign went under the hammer on Tuesday, February 20 at Club Rose Bay.

“It’s an incredible result given the commentary of late around a softening market but this show’s there’s still great opportunity to achieve a positive result,” Mr Leipnik said.

“It’s the second sale in Bondi that has achieved a price over the $35,000 per sq m mark in the past two weeks. That’s more expensive than Point Piper.”

Vendor Rupert Morrow said he was was thrilled with the result.

“It was a weird mix of nerves and excitement, and by the end of it I was left feeling ecstatic,” Mr Morrow said.

“I now have a little bit of extra spending money to put into my dream home.”
