Shining a Ray of Light this Festive Season

By Todd Alexander

This Christmas, Ray White continue its popular tradition of giving with the return of ‘A little Ray of giving’.

The inspiring Christmas campaign will see Ray White Double Bay and Cosmopolitan Centre partner with Sony Foundation Australia to help disadvantaged people who may need a little extra light in their festive season.

The Ray White Double Bay and Cosmopolitan Centre teams are calling on the local community to embrace the giving season and dig deep for children who need it most.

“This is the fifth year that we’ve run ‘A little Ray of Giving’ and we want 2018 to be our biggest year yet. When you see our Christmas tree go up, we urge everyone who is able to bring in a gift in for those families who are less fortunate,” said Managing Director, Elliott Placks.

The gift drive is a way to help put a smile on the face of anyone who may need some extra cheer at this time of year, and Mr Placks said it’s as simple as can be.

“All you need to do is collect a gift tag from our tree located at the Cosmopolitan Centre, Double Bay, purchase the gift and return the gift back to our tree”

“Our target for this year is 70 gifts and we’re confident that we can rally the public in support of this initiative to hit our target” said Mr Placks.

Ray White Double Bay located at 356 New South Head Road, Double Bay will have their special giving tree at the Cosmopolitan Centre, 2-22 Knox St, Double Bay NSW 2028 and will be collecting gifts anytime from 27th November until the 10th December.

“It’s a really simple way to put a smile on the face of someone who might otherwise go without this Christmas,” said Eduard Litver the Director of Cosmopolitan Centre adding that just a small gift can make the biggest difference to families who are struggling at an expensive time of year.

Sony Foundation, General Manager, Emma Peachy is thrilled to align with Rainbow Partner, Ray White Double Bay on this exciting initiative.

“We are very proud to be working with our Rainbow Corporate Partner Ray White Double Bay on this special initiative, to help to spread joy and give support to those who need it most this Holiday Season. “

Ray White has run this initiative across Australia and New Zealand each December since 2012. Last year more than 300 offices across Australia and New Zealand helped raise 30,000 gifts for disadvantaged families this Christmas.
