Embrace the new normal and be grateful, says top operator

By Courtney Martin

Ray White Double Bay Associate Director James Keenan has just set a new suburb record in Rosebery in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The career agent and top auctioneer with more than 18 years experience has quickly embraced the “new normal” of private inspections, virtual property tours and strict social distancing.

The five bedroom modern home with a 15m pool at 4 Trevilyan Ave, Rosebery on 1100sqm sold for more than $4 million after two weeks on the market and 20 private inspections.

“This property was attractive in any market and unique properties will always attract interest. The owners totally rebuilt the house after they bought the property in 2007. It’s in a great location on a tree-lined street crowned by the exclusive Australian Golf Club.

“We are just so lucky that we can still trade in this market.

“Agents who have embraced the changes are still finding solutions for their clients. It’s a time to be grateful.”
