Ray White Double Bay has teamed up with Variety – the Children’s Charity to spearhead a brand new community initiative ‘Ray White Double Bay Cares’ – where the whole team will come together to support communities in need by donating $100 from every sale to Variety – the Children’s Charity to provide practical equipment and services to children who are sick, disadvantaged or who have special needs.
The campaign was launched to Ray White Double Bay staff on Monday 2 May, where the team held the first of many upcoming volunteer days at Vaucluse Public School. In conjunction with Variety, the first activity was a Rhythm village drumming session for kids with special needs.
Ray White Double Bay Director Craig Pontey said the brand new initiative is a way for his team to give back to the community from the heart, “Ray White is a family business, it is something we are proud to be a part of. The heart of our business is very much embedded in these values and we are committed to affecting authentic change.”
“Ray White Double Bay is a proud member of the Eastern Suburbs community, and as such, it is vital for us, and our surrounding businesses to utilise our available resources to benefit those who are less fortunate.”
Along with donating $100 from every sale, and participating in volunteer days, Ray White Double Bay Cares will see the team hold frequent fundraising activities, support local community events, sponsor local clubs and charity groups, as well as the annual A Little Ray of Giving Christmas gift drive.
The team had an amazing day kicking off their community volunteer program alongside Variety, who use music therapy to help uncover students hidden potential and capabilities in a fun and engaging environment.
