With so much to do in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, it’s no wonder it’s a sought after area to live. Located between the city and the coast, Sydney’s eastern suburbs is home to some of the area’s best known attractions, including Bondi BeachCoogee BeachWatsons BayLa PerouseSouth Head and Nielsen Park.

Here’s a shortlist of some different things to do in Sydney’s eastern suburbs that make it so great.

1. Sail on Sydney Harbour

Explore one of the world’s most beautiful harbours aboard a yacht with EastSail , where you can be captain or let the crew do all the work. You could do this at sunset, arrange a dinner or even have an overnight stay. Either way, it will definitely be one to remember.

2. Learn to surf at Bondi Beach With Let’s Go Surfing

They have both surfing and stand up paddleboard lessons available and instructors will teach you how to read surfing conditions as well as how to actually surf. This is one of those things that’s great to do with the family on the weekend.

Another way to explore the gorgeous seas and landscape of the eastern suburbs is with a Seaplane tour from pretty Rose Bay. You can choose 15 minutes, 30 minutes or up to an hour of a scenic flight from above. There are packages available to fly and dine or even have a picnic lunch on a secluded beach. Again, one for the books.
