Sydney – One of the best cities in the world

By Danielle Banton

Not something Sydney residents didn’t already know…According to a survey conducted by the Economist, Sydney is the 7th most livable city in the world! Sydney, however is not alone, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide also featuring in the top ten- certainly a good reason to feel patriotic?

The criterion related to a “livability” study, which looks at how “tolerable” it is to live in a particular place given its crime levels, threat of conflict, quality of medical care, levels of censorship, temperature, schools and transport links.

It is hardly surprising Sydney is one of the best places to live in the world – Natural waterside harbours, lush parks, tree-lined boulevards, beautiful weather, magnificent beaches, to name but a few. Sydney has also become a center for fashion and haute cuisine, with some of the worlds most innovative and inspiring restaurants and fashion designers.

The next time you feel uninspired just gaze to clear and bright Sydney sky and remember, you are one of the privileged people who get to call this special place home.
