With stomach-turning wallpapers, nightmarish polyester fabrics and psychedelic nonsense, seventies décor is supposed to be impossibly tacky… isn’t it?
However there seems to be a new found appreciation for all things retro and you cant help but fall in love with every single overly-textured, madly accessorised, color-blinding décor style. They may have all been high on LSD, but those uber-retro homes look fit for a rock stars. Kitschy design is being reproduced so much these days you can’t really tell if something is actually retro anymore. What about the original retro homes that didn’t change with the fashion and stayed exactly the same since the day they were built when kitschy living was the future?
Here is a fine example of one of those perfectly preserved homes for sale by Ray White Double Bay.
