Ray White Double Bay named best in the East

By Courtney Martin

There isn’t a trophy cabinet big enough to hold the awards collected by the team at Ray White Double Bay at the annual Ray White awards, held this week.

Principal Elliott Placks said that while it was strange not taking the whole team, dressed up in their black-tie finery, to a major event, the virtual awards night was no less of a celebration.

For thirty years running, Ray White Double Bay again collected the title for strongest business in the eastern suburbs, as a result of assisting more buyers and selling more properties than any other agency in the region.

It wasn’t just selling they were recognised for; the property management team was singled out as the best investment business in the state, and broker, Daniel Pym, topped the annual competition for strongest home loan specialist in the eastern suburbs.

The Double Bay office ranked second in the state for overall sales performance, and fourth internationally – where 700+ agencies compete for the number one spot.

“In our office, three of our agents ranked in the top twenty for the hyper-competitive inner Sydney market where Ray White has agents in almost every suburb. Warren Ginsberg ranked second, Michael Finger ranked fifth and Ashley Bierman ranked ninth.”

“All of those agents were awarded the coveted Elite Performers title, as did Daryl Rosen, Alan Fettes, Graham Berman and the newest to join our team James Ledgerwood. This places those agents in the top 3pc in the nation. It’s quite a coup to have so many high-achieving team mates.”

“We’ve long been working towards the vision of being a total one-stop-shop, so that our clients can buy a property through one of our high quality agents, secure the most appropriate home loan through our mortgage arm, and lease that property through our investment specialists, before selling with us when it comes time to divest the asset,” Mr Placks explained.

“To be recognised in all facets of our business as a leader in those divisions against strong competition locally and statewide is a testament to our ambitious team.”

“One of the major differences between our agency and others is our focus on culture and team. We’ve got an ethos here that we are a star team, not a team of individual stars trying to work independently. Our clients benefit from a genuine collegiate culture, where multiple agents really know the east and openly discuss property strategies and possible buyers.”

“Our team works together for our clients best interests, and we couldn’t be prouder of the results.”

Famously charismatic auctioneer and agent James Keenan celebrated his 20 year tenure at the awards.

“We’re proud to be a place where agents can start and grow a career over decades.”

Elliott’s own performance was notable, ranking 10th in the state for his sales as a business owner and achieving Chairman’s Elite status.
