Ray White Double Bay x Jewish House: Supporting Our Community When It Matters Most

Ray White Double Bay is proud to continue its partnership with Jewish House, coming together last week to provide practical support to people experiencing crisis across our community.

On Wednesday 19 August, the Ray White Double Bay team gathered to assemble 200 crisis relief toiletry packs for Jewish House, alongside the presentation of a $50,000 donation from the business.

The cheque was presented by Principals; Elliott Placks, Michael Krimotat and Ashley Bierman to representatives of Jewish House, in recognition of the organisation’s ongoing work supporting people before, during and after crisis.

Jewish House has been a part of the Sydney community for over 4 decades, providing practical assistance to people in need, helping individuals and families through some of the most difficult periods of their lives. Their mission is simple, ‘to be here for anyone in need, at any time’. 

For Ray White Double Bay, the relationship with Jewish House is one that runs much deeper than a single fundraising initiative. As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to their charity partner, a portion of each sales commission is donated to support the organisation and its vital work. This partnership has become an important part of Ray White Double Bay’s commitment to giving back to the community that they serve each day.

The 200 toiletry packs assembled by the team will provide practical essentials and care to people accessing Jewish House’s services. While simple in nature, these packs represent an immediate and tangible way to offer care and dignity to someone going through a challenging time.

The initiative also gave the team the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day of the business and contribute together to a cause that is particularly close to the hearts of the company and its people.

Elliott reflected, “it also reminds us just how fortunate many of us are. The challenges we face can feel significant in the moment, but there are people in our community facing circumstances that are far more difficult. Being able to step back, recognise that privilege and do something to help, is incredibly important to us.”
